Bike computer received as ordered with bonus rear flashing light. Great value for money. Have not yet mounted it so can't comment on functionality.

Just the Basics June 14, 2018
Reviewer: Luis B. from Burnaby, BC Canada
I've been using a 9.16. The first 9.16 I bought was not waterproof to IPX-8 or whatever Sigma claims. It failed in the rain, went totally blank. When I reported this to Sigma, they just told me to go thru the vendor. Not very good customer service. I bought a second 9.16, which is still working, BUT it has this completely idiotic calorie counter. I never use it, but since it's a one-button unit, I have to go thru the calorie count before I can get to the clock. So I bought the 7.16 so I can use the same mount and not have to be bothered with how many calories I've burned. And how would it know if I was riding really slow and easy on flat ground, or going as hard as I could up a steep climb, both at the same speed? Yeah whoever thought to put a calorie counter on this unit - especially a one-button unit - is a real genius. NOT. How about a thermometer instead, like on the 9.12? WAY more useful.
