The cadence magnet pedal insert is designed for tight installation situations. The principle is simple, yet space-saving: the power magnet attaches to any steel pedal spindle by magnetic force alone. From there, it triggers the cadence transmitter with each crank revolution.

great idea but too small in diameter December 14, 2015

The magnet is a good idea but should be larger in diameter to fit the pedal opening. Will find out if it falls off.

Fall off the bike November 23, 2015
Reviewer: Sharon E. from Woodland Park , CO United States
The magnetics do not stay on the back of the pedal even with electrical tape!  They should be sent to you for free when you need another one.
Maybe someone will figure out a system that works for this computer. Disappointed!
  Thanks,  Sharon L. Engle, RD

Hello Sharon. Please ensure that your pedal is made of a material that is magnetic or the magnet will not stick.

Not a fan August 28, 2015
Reviewer: Ed Z. from Seattle, WA United States
I am not a big fan of the magnets that slap on to the back of the pedal ...I seem to loose them periodically when my bike is in transit and I forget to take them off. The process of ordering new accessories from Sigma works fine if I have a week to go without but it would be so much easier if there was an actual retailer in Seattle whom I could visit when i needed an item immediately.
